The HARA CHAIR, model DOL, combines dynamic sitting with a modern design. The patented seat meets all the requirements placed on an ergonomic office swivel chair. This discreet classic style chair amongst ergonomic office swivel chairs, offers optimal seating comfort for eight to twelve hours. Even after half a day you will still sit comfortably. “Active sitting” makes this possible. The split seat is flexible, adjusts automatically and adapts optimally to the angle of the pelvis. The ergonomic S-shape of the chair supports the entire back from the shoulders to the lumbar spine and thus prevents tension. In addition, the comfortable cushions increase seating comfort. The headrest is removable.
WHO IS THE MODEL NOT SUITABLE FOR?
Discreet and ergonomic at the same time, this ergonomic office swivel chair is suitable for anyone who sits for eight to twelve hours a day. This office chair fits discreetly into offices and authorities as well as into offices and practices. The seat is 50 cm wide and 50 cm deep. For smaller people, HARA CHAIR also offers shorter seat cushions with a seat depth of 45 cm. The frame is very stable, provided that it’s not exceeding the weight limit of more than 120 kilograms. With a heavy-duty base for an additional charge, this model can hold up to 150 kilograms. The ergonomic seat height can be adjusted from 43 to a maximum of 60 cm. Many office chairs can only be adjusted to a maximum of 50 cm as standard.
WHAT CHARACTERISTICS THE HARA CHAIR DOL 01?
The split seat enables active sitting. In contrast to office chairs with a rigid seat, the movable seat modules from HARA CHAIR avoid any pressure. This relieves the strain on the spine and coccyx, protects the intervertebral discs and promotes blood circulation in the buttocks. The visually classic backrest follows the natural S-curve of the spine. The well-padded, ergonomic backrest not only supports the shoulders, it also has light lumbar support that primarily supports the lower back. The backrest is not height-adjustable in this model, but the angle of inclination with a synchronous mechanism and the seat depth can be adjusted for the optimal back position (with a height-adjustable backrest see models NIE, NWL, ZEN-LS and ZEN). 50 mm castors are standard on HARA CHAIR, so that the office swivel chair can be moved easily even on uneven surfaces.
WHAT VERSIONS ARE THERE?
The DOL model is available in black (colour number 01). The cover made of polyester fabric is very robust and has breathable ventilation openings. A special foam is used in the backrest and seat, the climate slats have a heat-regulating effect and dissipate moisture. The user always feels comfortable.
WHAT ALTERNATIVES ARE THERE?
If you don’t have back problems but want to prevent discomfort, an office chair for dynamic sitting is recommended (see models NIE or NWL). If you have intervertebral disc problems or a pronounced hollow back, depending on your body weight, we recommend a health chair with strong (see model ZEN-LS) or light lumbar support (see also models ZEN, THA and CAE).
DO YOU GET A GUARANTEE?
The warranty is two years. We think sustainably; if there is a problem, you don’t just have to throw away a HARA CHAIR. We have kept all spare parts for every HARA CHAIR model in stock for over 10 years. Simply take a photo of the defect part and we will send you the appropriate replacement.
ALLERGIES?
HARA CHAIR cares about the health of our customers. In order to avoid allergies and health problems, we do not use any harmful adhesives in the production of our office chairs to bond the fabrics to the headrest, backrest and seat padding.
HOW CAN I AVOID STATIC DISCHARGE?
You will receive an anti-static chain with your office chair. Hang this chain on the base so that it touches the floor. The anti-static chain is only necessary for certain floors, shoes and work with sensitive electronic components. It prevents possible electric shocks when sitting down in the office chair.

After placing an order, we will contact you to ensure that you have ordered the right HARA CHAIR model (height, weight and any existing back problems are also important).
For your information, the backrests are compatible with all HARA CHAIR models, meaning that the back support can be replaced at a later date.
And if it doesn’t fit, you can send the office chair back to us within the statutory period of two weeks for 35 euros. HARA CHAIR organises the return shipping.
