I can only recommend this company and its products. Since I have had several slipped discs, it is not always easy to find the right product. It is all the better when you come across a company like this one. In my particular case, I was helped very quickly and without complications by being sent two backrest variants, from which I could choose. With the small update, it is now a perfect fit for me. You don’t often experience this much flexibility these days.

°So, on Sunday, May 1st, 2016, I was searching online for a real ergonomic office chair (because my cheap furniture store chair was tilted and the backrest of my previous, expensive Bene office chair had already broken) and ended up with the orthopedic Hara chair. After my back (which has been a problem for 25 years) and risk assessment (a split “Bene” backrest also broke), I decided on the DOL model. Note: I would like to criticize the many “executive chair” offers from Amazon -> with a maximum weight of 100 kg and 2-3 hours of use a day, something like this is suitable for a part-time secretary or a small Asian, but not for someone from the Alps!

°I got a call from my boss on Monday at 9:30 a.m., asking about my height, weight and any back problems so that I could find the best possible solution. She took 35 minutes to listen to my back story with the usual specialist failure, to assess my weight (>100 kg) – but 120 kg would require a “special steel” swivel base & rollers (weight-critical part!) for an extra charge – and to share my concerns about the movable back parts of the expensive models (worries about breakage at my weight) or a lumbar support (back problems) and to confirm DOL as the best choice. With the promise to send it straight away.

° Today, Wednesday 9 a.m., it has already arrived from behind the mountains. I have already started by simply putting it together, but I am so impressed by the thick, solid steel (and not plastic or “tin”) that I stopped to write the review.

Since I have now had to sit on a stool because the old “executive chair” became a danger, and I have experience with weight-relieving mattresses, I fear no later disappointment with regard to the weight-relieving, split seat or the stability/durability.
And should the 120 kg become critical, there is the swivel base/rollers for 150/180 kg.
After all, 120 kg is not “God knows what” for longer loads and 100 kg limits are ridiculous for an “executive chair”

So a big thank you to Hara and their interest in my well-being!

Not exactly cheap, but worth every euro because of the very good workmanship.
Assembly is no problem even for laypeople thanks to the pre-assembly. It took me 20 minutes.
The seat is perfect thanks to the split seat.

A great chair, no problems when sitting for long periods despite lumbar protrusion. I think the price is a little too high. But so far everything is good, if it lasts at least another 5 years I’ll take it back.

I have had various office chairs, but my back and bottom hurt after 1-2 hours. High-end chairs were simply too expensive for me. The DOL does what it promises. Even sitting for long periods is no problem. It adapts to your posture and is comfortable even after hours. Its construction seems very robust compared to other chairs and the look is impressive. All I can say is that the price and performance are right and the chair will be a long-term companion. Delivery was very quick and assembly is easy.
